Now a days the everyone is on the social media and due to this the reach of social media is has now reached to more than 50% of the population.

This lead the security as the one of the major issue to use social media for peoples; and everyone tries to secure his/her social life secure.

Taking this into account Facebook; the major giant of social media has introduced new feature which lets you know if someone is snooping into the account. The post was published on the official Fabook Blog which states that privacy of its users is on its priority list.

While we have always taken steps to secure accounts that we believe to have been compromised, we decided to show this additional warning if we have a strong suspicion that an attack could be government-sponsored. We do this because these types of attacks tend to be more advanced and dangerous than others, and we strongly encourage affected people to take the actions necessary to secure all of their online accounts.

How Facebook will notify users about Snoop ?

When Facebook thinks that someone is under snoop by either Government or any person then Facebook will be add personalised alert in the profile of user.

When such intimation is received then users can easily change the password of the profile and can secure his / her account.

The above warning is not related to any compromise of Facebook’s platform or system, and this may indicate that users system may be affected with malware; states Facebook in his blog statement.
